Sony HVR M35

The Sony HVR-M35U is an HDV format VTR ideally used with desktop editing workstations. The deck can play back both NTSC/PAL signals, as well as 720p. The unit records Sony's 1080i as well as DV and DVCAM. The HVR-M35U can output to Serial Digital Interface (SDI), which supports an uncompressed signal for unmatched image quality in both standard and high definition. Additional features include advanced time code settings, assignable buttons, and a front mounted 2.7" LCD.

The HVR-M15P enable users to record and play back video in a choice of formats - HDV 1080i, DVCAM and DV. It also feature a down-conversion capability for 1080i recording, which provides the flexibility to record in either standard definition (SD) or high definition (HD) depending on your production needs.

One of the most powerful features of these VTR is it's compatibility with standard cassettes in addition to mini cassettes, which provides extended recording time of up to 276 minutes. In addition, it provide a convenient function to copy not just the video and audio of an original tape via an i.LINK connection, but also the time code.
